Begin the day with uplifting outdoor Yoga with Lu looking over Newgrange. Aisling will then take you on a guided mindful walk in the magnificent mature gardens. Lunch will be seasonal affair from the kitchen garden using local & organic produce.
In the afternoon you will learn about the natural Indigo dyeing process and the Japanese shibori technique. Iseult will help create your own design for you to take home .

A short talk from Aisling about composition from nature before being left to explore the grounds to sketch what catches your eye.
Learn how to design a card from your drawings with a range of linocut techniques using water based inks to create prints that you can frame or make into cards.
You will be amazed by the results.
Carving a variety of mark making techniques using linocut tools
Create your own design or use a design template
Print your design by hand to frame or make into greeting cards
